California Bankruptcy Court clears Black Market Records of all debts in court.

California Bankruptcy Court has cleared Ced Singleton and Black Market Records of all debt and legal obligations to all of the titles that were included in the bankruptcy from 2005 at the very end of 2015. The Black Market Records bankruptcy case of 2014 was settled and finalized in 2016 with debtor, lawyers, and judges in court. Ced Singleton settled with the debtors and the lawyers out of court as well. The bankruptcy case is now officially closed.

To recap, on the date of 11/22/2014, Ced Singleton filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and Chapter 11 bankruptcy for his Black Market Records business. How Austin, Texas allows real estate development to build in floodplains.

Over the years, City of Austin has allowed real estate development to build housing located in flood plains which is a mistake on the City of Austin’s part. Neighborhoods such as Onion Creek, Yarrabee Bend, Timber Creek, Jet Lane, Rainey Street, Onion Creek Plantations, Rio Lado, Austin Pecan Trailer Park, and Williamson Creek are prime examples of bad planning and the City of Austin allowing real estate development to build housing inside floodplains.

In 1971, land was sold for the Austin Pecan Trailer Park to begin allowing home owners who had trailers to move in. 1972 is when the reception office was built as a single story unit with 5 single rooms with a reception desk, a supply closet for maintenance supplies, storage a supply closet for maintenance storage, and a garage. Years of operation for the Austin Pecan Trailer Park were from 1972 to 2008.

Now the Austin Pecan Trailer Park was located inside a 25 year floodplain. It would flood there every 2 years. Trailers would be wiped out clean as a result from constant flooding. Mold grow inside these trailers after flooding happened. Vegetation surrounding the property made it difficult to retrieve personal belongings.

As a result of constant flooding with the trailer park being located in a flood plain, in 2001, City of Austin bought out the land property where trailers once resided. City of Austin developed a flood buyout plan It took a total of 4 years from 2001 to 2005 for the City of Austin to buy out all the homeowners land plots for which their trailers were located on. By 2008, all of the former Austin Pecan Trailer Park property was abandoned. To this day, only a building for the reception office, roof provision for where mailboxes were, and a shed for maintenance storage remain.

The City of Austin got contractors to haul in large rectangular limestone bricks to prevent access for illegal dumping.

Antioch School in Buda, Texas revitalized.

In 2008, the City of Buda administration set aside a large sum amount of money to rebuild and revitalize the Antioch School. That large amount of money set aside by the City of Buda was used to revitalize the Antioch School. In 2009, the Antioch School was rebuilt and revitalized by volunteers, preservationists, and community activists.
As of January 2017, outside walls for Antioch School have been painted white again as maintenance requires due to the fact the Antioch School is a Texas Historic Landmark. Today Antioch School remains in its position at Antioch Park for which the school is located on. The Antioch School also functions as a community center.

History behind The Rock House (Horton-Duval House). The “other” Sneed House.

Judge Sebron Graham Sneed bought 470 acres of property south of Austin, Texas for farm they had purchased around a sum of $1,000 in 1854. Located on the 470 acre property was a single story structure called The Rock House. This limestone brick structure was called The Rock House was located on the former Sneed Plantation. The Rock House was once a plantation house purposed as a home for slave owners prior to the Civil War era. Not only did The Rock House serve as a home for slave owners, it served as a living quarters for slaves. The Horton-Duval  House served as slave quarters for the Sneed family.

The Rock House was built by Sneed's slaves and completed in 1857. Construction was finished by hand. Some of the walls and all of the fireplaces were limestone that was quarried from the Sneed farm. Lumber was used for the roof and floors in this single unit structure. The Rock House was more than likely designed by architect and general contractor Abner Hugh Cook. The Rock House was also known as Thomas Sneed House, Horton-Duval Home, and Horton-Duval House.

The Sneed family owned 21 slaves by 1860. During the Civil War, this house and the Sneed House was used as a recruiting station and a Confederate hospital. Sebron Sneed later willed 55 acres of the Sneed Plantation property to his daughter Marinda Bledsoe in July 15, 1871. Marinda Bledsoe willed the Sneed Plantation property her daughter Rockie Bledsoe by 1916. The house was remodeled with improvements in 1920. The Sneed family lived on the farm property until August 1, 1922, when it was sold with 196.4 acres to Bledsoe's cousin, Calvin L. Hughes for $8,000. Calvin L. Hughes willed the property to his daughter Virgia Lo Cage. Virgia Lo Cage lived there until her death in 1965. Frances Sneed Simnacher owned the property for a short period of time as well.

In 1992, the former Horton-Duval House was sold to Robert T. Davis for an amount of $49,000. A home-run business called INTERNATIONAL MICRO FILM FOUNDATION, INC operated there from 1984 to 2002. Robert T. Davis and Associates, Inc. operated out of that house as well. Robert T. Davis shut down both of his businesses in 2002.

A fire mysteriously destroyed the house on March 2, 1996. An application for demolition to Horton-Duval House was filed by Majid Hemassi in 1998. A public on an appeal of the decision by the Texas Historic Landmark Commission to deny an application for a demolition permit for the Horton-Duval House was denied on December 10, 1998.


The Rock House is one of the few surviving pre-Civil War structures in the city of Austin. The few surviving pre-Civil War structures in Austin deteriorate further into despair with some structures or buildings almost beyond repair due to years of neglect, erosion, disaster, and vandalism. The Rock House is no exception to this case. Condition of The Rock House is quite the same condition as the Sneed House. The Horton-Duval House is a city historic landmark. Landmarks such as this one are important so we do not forget about our cultural history from the past.

Currently The Rock House lays in terrible condition almost beyond repair due to years of neglect. Overtime as years went by, The Rock House was vandalized by criminals and transients. Elements of neglect, vandalism, and erosion are evident. With signs of vegetation nature has taken over this place. It would take millions of dollars in an effort to revitalize or rebuild The Rock House due to its deteriorating condition. As of right now in 2017, there are no plans to demolish The Rock House. Majid Hemassi is the current owner.

It’s 2017 and Donald Trump continues to capitalize off the success from his own victories in such a provocative manner.

Donald Trump capitalized on his great victory in New York after winning the primary election in that state in 2016. His victory was a clean sweep. His victory was a clean sweep that was dealt with a clear blow shockingly however. This clear blow was a shocker. Nonetheless, Donald Trump continues to capitalize off his own victories. After all, Donald Trump garners marginal support from the GOP. He has secure endorsement from the GOP, the entire nation of the United States, several donors among others, and in New York State. From the GOP perspective, Donald Trump capitalized on his great victory in New York.

The rightness of Donald Trump proves to be questionable. The logic of Trump is flawed. Donald Trump refuses to increase minimum wage, enact a living wage standard nationwide, cease all wars the US is currently involved in, get rid of tax breaks, or reform healthcare, but he will limit immigration.

Donald Trump is so quick as to dismiss viewpoints from others as he is a narcissist. He is unapologetic in his political beliefs even if his political viewpoints are politically incorrect. Yet his speeches resonate with his audience under a true conservative formation motivated by his conservative ideology with strong sense. He is seen by his supporters as brash and unapologetically patriotic. This is his true patriotism. Still, the GOP views Donald Trump as a “savior” or “the great one”. The rightness of Donald Trump proves to be questionable.

From the GOP perspective and his too, Donald Trump capitalized on his great victory from the voters in New York. In 2016, Donald Trump won votes in the US State of New York during the presidential election which eventually led him to become President of the United States.


Earlier in 2016, Donald Trump won many votes for his presidential campaign within the state of Iowa due to his conservative politics along with support from the GOP. The GOP support is what led Donald Trump to gain more massive votes over Hillary Clinton. He was in the lead against Hillary Clinton at the time. Donald Trump eventually beat Hillary Clinton in the number of votes for Iowa State.

The massive support from the GOP and donors is what led Trump to win in Iowa. He had marginal support from the GOP there as well as some of the Democratic Party and Republican Party. Trump already had won massive votes in other states. Even in the democratic state of Iowa Trump won! From the GOP perspective and his too, on his great victory in Iowa after winning votes there during the primary election in 2016. It’s another victory he capitalized off of.


To sum it all… donations from various donors, marginal GOP support, conservatism, supposed activism, and big money is how Donald Trump continues to capitalize off of the success right directly straight from his own victories. A look at the United States presidential campaign of 2016.

Overall, the election came and went. The battle for presidency raged on ever so much. The United States presidential campaign of 2016 was almost similar to a chapter taken straight out of a dystopian novel. Both political parties do not have America's best interest at heart. These presidential candidates represented their own supposed political party even though they don't have the voters interest at heart. They only care about big business and the upper class. Either way, America is screwed.

There were huge problems with both presidential candidates from both political parties due to personality clashes. One candidate publicly attacks another candidate representing another political party based on their own personality while the other candidate does the exact same thing to the candidate attacking that candidate right back. Each presidential candidate represented their own political party. Our votes are based solely upon economic factors in our lives. A great number of voters are lowly informed voters who overlook economic factors. People like this vote for the incumbent party when times are good for them. We live in international times. We're living in a country where people are constantly scared they're losing their rights.

Montopolis residents rally to save Montopolis School.

Montopolis residents rallied last Friday (12/3/2016) at Austin City Hall to preserve what used to be the Montopolis School that was also known as the Montopolis Negro School. Various activist groups called on City of Austin to save the former Montopolis School. These groups pressed city hall to preserve the Montopolis School by issuing the property with a historical landmark. 15 members from the Montopolis Neighborhood Association showed up last Friday. The Montopolis Neighborhood Association called upon City of Austin to buy the Montopolis School from Austin Stonewall (Austin Stowell) of KEEP Investment Group. Many groups want the city to keep the school by using empty land as a park and school as a museum. 

The situation behind Montopolis School is institutional racism that Austin is known for. Historian Fred L. McGhee pointed out the city not acting to save Montopolis School is a symbol of institutional racism. By letting school buildings such as this one decay and face demolition is an example of institutional racism.

Montopolis School is one of the last 42 schools in Travis County that educated African American children from 1891 to 1962. Schools such as Montopolis School were commonplace during the segregation era. Austin ISD finished integration altogether in 1985.

The City of Austin has determined Montopolis School qualifies for historical landmark designation after an investigation. The City of Austin has recommended initiate historic zoning to keep the Montopolis School from being demolished after they determined the building to be historic. If someone goes before the Historic Landmark Commission on September 12, 2016, to save the school, the school will not be demolished.

But that alone will not be enough to save the school from further demolition. Nothing has been implemented or decided yet by the city or Austin Stonewall, but both plaintiffs are pushing for demolition in order for 15 single-family units to be built. These 15 single-family units will be built on 2 rectangular acres. Austin Stonewall of KEEP Investment Group/Real Estate currently has plans to demolish the school in order to make room for 15 single-family units on the property of 2 rectangular acres. Austin Stonewall currently owns property of the land where the Montopolis School is located on.

Today, Montopolis Church of Christ is currently located in its same position as an original steel framework structure.Austin Statesman reports historic properties like the Montopolis School are extremely vulnerable to demolition even thought the city has recommended to initiate historic zoning to keep the Montopolis School from being demolished after they determined the building to be historic.  Historic properties like the Montopolis School are extremely vulnerable to demolition. For many years, Iranian opposition of foreign political powers was considered to be very high prior to 2007. Since then, the United States - Iran relationship has strongly improved. Iran is more willing to be allied with the US than any of the neighboring countries in the Middle East especially Russia. Iran was a legit democracy prior to the Carter administration. 

Despite Iranian opposition of foreign powers, the US maintains a stellar relationship with Iran in politics. For many years, Iranian opposition of foreign powers was at an all time high at one point in time. Especially against the United States and Russia! Both United States and Russia were after Iran for their oil supply. Iran was against political support from Kazakhstan due to the fact that the country of Kazakhstan was included in the Russian Federation when Russia tried to invade Iran for their oil supply thrice.

The United States supports Iran despite military planning strategy to overthrowing the Ayatollah of Iran in order to give the country more democracy. This forced the Ayatollah to retract support of ISIS and Hamas. Iran has pulled its support of Hamas at the expense of the nation and its citizens which in turn protects its own position. Despite the fact although Iran supports ISIS and Hamas, support for both so called organizations has gone way down since 2015. Iran has pulled away from supporting ISIS and Hamas as well as the Taliban.

As of October 2016, the country of Russia wants to take the Ukraine back in order to be part of the Russian Federation again. The Russian government has desires for The Ukraine to become a Russian colony. Not only that! Russia is against Ukraine joining the European Union which NATO desires.

The outcome for both Russia and the Ukraine could jeopardize NATO and European Union enlargement. Opposition groups opposed the NATO bid. Russia vehemently opposes the expansion of NATO in certain European countries that were once considered communist although Russian leaders strongly deny opposition in both countries. If NATO wins, sanctions in Russia for actions performed in the Ukraine will be lifted. NATO has had the European Union's best interest at heart since 2000. Since then, tensions between Russia and NATO have increased in an intensified manner. 

The real issues behind the politics between Russia, Ukraine, and NATO are corruption, nepotism, opposition, economics, ecology, and financial mismanagement. Political corruption has plagued the country of Russia for many centuries. Political opposition to NATO is nothing new in Russia. Such political opposition leads to opposition groups being formed in Russia.

Also, the country of Russia wants to take the Ukraine back in order to be part of the Russian Federation again. The Russian government has desires for The Ukraine to become a Russian colony. Rio Lado Apartments demolished!

HACA has received HUD approval under Section 18 for the demolition of Rio Lado Apartments. A demolition contract has recently been procured and approved in 2016. Process of building demolition on Rio Lado Apartments began in September 2016. Asbestos abatement was performed by building contractors. Code enforcers from City of Austin, HACA, and Austin Housing Authority were present on site. 

A contract for demolition of Rio Lado Apartments was originally approved by the Board of Commissioners on September 26, 2012. The Rio Lado Apartments were previously approved for demolition through a Demolition/Disposition Application with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) due to their obsolescence. VP of Housing and Community Development Veronica Macon spoke about improvements to the Rio Lado Apartments in November 2012. HACA procured a development team to assist with redevelopment of Rio Lado in March 2013. The demolition project was subsequently postponed in 2014 to the expensive cost of asbestos abatement. As for demolition, the demolition project was subsequently postponed while HACA researched and considered alternate uses for the property through the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD). Title to the land for Rio Lado will remain with HACA.

Furthermore, HACA has received numerous code violation notices from the City of Austin as a result of the current condition of the property. The property is prone to various city code compliance violations and health code violations. Black mold and asbestos have been found in the apartment buildings. The buildings in their current condition are unsightly to the neighborhood. During HACA's inspection, it was determined that 80% of Rio Lado Apartments was encumbered in a floodplain. Due to the location in a flood plain, restrictions have been placed on development of the site.

Pentagon misallocates $2 trillion dollars! (Revisited)

Back in September 2016, the Pentagon lost $2 trillion dollars. News stations and newspapers all over the United States reported that the Pentagon has misallocated $2 trillion dollars! The main reason why the Pentagon misallocated $2 trillion dollars is because they over-budgeted. Government officials working at the Pentagon have no explanation as to where those $2 trillion dollars when to or how it was spent. Officials in the accounting department of the Pentagon are trying to figure out how to solve this financial crisis. Officials in the accounting department are tying to find the answers as to how they over-budgeted.

Nobody knows for certain what happened. Government officials and nobody else can explain the misappropriation of the $2 trillion dollars in funds. The real reasons behind this misappropriation and misallocation of the $2 trillion dollars is currently unknown. News reporters from news stations as well as activists and attorneys are wanting those who are government officials working at the Pentagon to be held responsible to the fullest extent of the law. Activists and lawyers are seeking answers as well.

Where is the outrage from American citizens that the United States Government is misspending our money? Why is there no huge uproar or any loud outrage? Our voices need to be heard.

Del Valle Opportunity Center demolished.

The Del Valle Opportunity Center has now been demolished after a long time being vacant. What operated as a K-12 school for at-risk students now has relocated to the current campus of Del Valle High School. In April 2016, the Lamar School was demolished. The demolition process was a quick and speedy process due to the International style L-plan building being one story.

The Del Valle Opportunity Center first opened as Lamar School (as known as La Mar School) which would later become Lamar Elementary School for African-American students for the Colorado Common School District (now Del Valle Independent School District) in 1937 inside a two-room schoolhouse. In 1957, the Lamar School relocated into a modernized International style L-plan building as their campus. Until 1970, Lamar School operated as a school for African American students residing in Del Valle and the surrounding areas. Several buildings were built across the 6 acre campus. Additional portables were pulled in. Lamar School would eventually become the Del Valle Opportunity Center in 1978. 

The Del Valle Independent School District school board passed a bond in 2007 to relocate the Del Valle Opportunity Center to another new building. In 2010, the Del Valle Opportunity Center was relocated to the new location of Del Valle High School. In 2011, the Del Valle Opportunity Center was all but abandoned. The International style L-plan building quickly fell into rural decay. In April 2016, the Lamar School was finally demolished. The one story International style L-plan building no longer exists.

History about the Del Valle Opportunity Center.

The Del Valle Opportunity Center (Lamar School also known as La Mar School) has been a pinnacle in community activities in Del Valle, Texas for years. It has shaped at-risk students and has turned them around to be positive contributing members of society. For instance offering extracurricular activities, vocational training, and therapy along with other classes. These students focus on graduating rather than the traditional school experience. The Del Valle Opportunity Center operated as a K-12 campus.

In 1937, Del Valle Missionary Baptist Church sold 1 acre of land to the Colorado Common School District (now Del Valle Independent School District) to open the Lamar School. Lamar School was established as an elementary school for black students who lived in the Colorado Common School District in Del Valle. In 1940, the church sold an additional 5 acres of land to the Colorado Common School District to open the Lamar School which would eventually become Lamar Elementary School.

From 1937 to 1957, Lamar School operated as a two-room schoolhouse before expanding into a modernized school campus. For 20 years, Lamar School operated in a one story two-room schoolhouse until eventually relocating into an actual building. From 1937 to 1978, Lamar School would operate as Lamar School Elementary until eventually becoming Del Valle Opportunity Center. 

In 1957, the Lamar School relocated into an International style L-plan building. The two-room schoolhouse was demolished and cleared out to make way for additional portables for the school district. Several buildings were built across the 6 acre campus. Portables were added as additional buildings to the Del Valle Opportunity Center. The architect of the building was Arnold E. Whittmann. Until 1970, Lamar School operated as a school for African American students residing in Del Valle and the surrounding areas.

Lamar School would eventually become the Del Valle Opportunity Center in 1978. A few extra additional portables were constructed as well. The school has had its share of violence and other mishaps occur as similar situations occur in such school settings. For example, a 15 year old stabbed another student in 1992. Police were called to the scene of the crime and arrested those who were involved during an investigation.

Recent information regarding the United States - Iran relationship.

Iran is more willing to be allied with the US than any of the neighboring countries in the Middle East especially Russia. This is due to US foreign oversight on Iran. Iran has pulled its support of Hamas at the expense of the nation and its citizens which in turn protects its own position. This forced the Ayatollah to retract support of ISIS and Hamas. Since then, the United States - Iran relationship has strongly improved. The United States supports Iran. Despite military planning strategy to overthrowing the Ayatollah of Iran in order to give the country more democracy. Lack of foreign oversight is led the US and Russia to attack Iran to begin with. Iran was a legit democracy prior to the Carter administration.

Politics between Russia and Ukraine.

As of October 2016, the country of Russia wants to take the Ukraine back in order to be part of the Russian Federation again. The Russian government has desires for The Ukraine to become a Russian colony. Not only that! Russia is against Ukraine joining the European Union which the Ukraine desires. The outcome for both Russia and the Ukraine could jeopardize European Union enlargement. Opposition groups in Russia and the Ukraine opposed the growing enlargement of European Union. Russia vehemently opposes the expansion of the European Union although Russian leaders strongly deny opposition in both countries. Since then, tensions between Russia and Ukraine have increased in an intensified manner. 

The real issues behind the politics between Russia and Ukraine are corruption, nepotism, opposition, economic, ecology, and financial mismanagement. Political corruption has plagued the countries of Russia and Ukraine for many centuries. Political opposition to the European Union is nothing new. Such political opposition leads to opposition groups being formed in Russia and Ukraine.
