For the past week since September 30th, 2016, a house has been sitting in the middle of the road located on East Live Oak Street which is near South Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas. The house was an attraction for a haunted house. It appears that the rental company that was hauling the attraction for a haunted house had damaged the house because several windows were shattered in the process of moving the house down the street towards its desired location. Several window panels were busted out on 2 sides of the house. A haunted house appeared to be in dilapidated shape. The rental company is still trying to figure out how to move the house from East Live Oak Street to the customers desired location.
Residents and spectators sat by and watched as movers were discussing trying to figure out what actions to make next. Many residents were curios as to how such a tragic event like this occurred. Several residents watched movers haul wooden beam terriers used to support the house structure in order to haul the house away smoothly. When the house will actually be moved or not is currently unclear. A set date has not been clear yet according to the movers themselves.
The haunted house was on the way to be delivered to Lockhart, Texas. The house is an attraction for a haunted house. Along the way the moving company faced some insurance problems. It also appears that the rental company responsible for hauling the house had no insurance either.
